My name is Kavita, and I am a 12th-grade student at Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Ghaseda. Our school has around 815 girls from classes 6th to 12th. Despite the large number of students, we had only four old classrooms, and one of the biggest challenges we faced every day was the lack of electricity. During the hot summer months, the situation was even worse. Sometimes we had electricity for just two hours a day, and on many days, there was no electricity at all. We used to sit in the classrooms, sweating and struggling to focus, fanning ourselves with our books just to get some relief from the heat. It was difficult to concentrate, and it greatly affected our studies.

Things changed when MMTC-PAMP India Pvt. Ltd. , under their CSR initiative, stepped in to help us. They installed a 10 kW solar power system in our school. This was a huge gift for us. Now we have regular electricity during school hours, and all of us feel much more comfortable and motivated to study. Fans and lights work properly, and we no longer have to worry about power cuts during class.

This has not only improved our learning environment but also made us feel valued and cared for. On behalf of all the students, I want to thank MMTC-PAMP for bringing such a positive change to our school. Their support has made a real difference in our daily lives and has brightened both our classrooms and our future.
